Rev. Mark Andrew Jefferson

The Rev. Mark Andrew Jefferson, PhD, serves as Interim Pastor of New Horizons Baptist Church and also holds the Gladstone Chair of Preaching and Worship at Acadia Divinity College. His work reflects a deep commitment to theological education, faithful leadership, and meaningful community engagement. He is passionate about helping people grow in knowledge, faith, and service, and about fostering collaboration, innovation, and accessible learning opportunities. Through both ministry and academic service, Mark brings together thoughtful reflection and practical experience to support individuals and communities in flourishing. He is grateful for the opportunities to contribute to New Horizons’ mission and the people it serves.
