Building Expansion

Our building expansion is complete. We worshipped in the renovated sanctuary for the first time on January 29, 2023. There are still some small touch-ups to do as we prepare for greater ministry in Halifax’s north end.

Thank you for your support. We still need your help to “burn the mortgage”. Stay connected with us and discover how you can be involved!

NEW HORIZONS

BAPTIST CHURCH, HALIFAX

(formerly Cornwallis Street Baptist Church)

Historically, our church was named Cornwallis Street Baptist Church because of the street on which we are physically located. In 2018, we changed our name to New Horizons Baptist Church and we are “Building for Greater”.

“The intent of the name change is to identify ourselves by a name that better reflects the church’s values with an eye to the church’s work in the future,” Dr. Rhonda Y. Britton, Senior Pastor, New Horizons Baptist Church.

CURRENT WORSHIP SCHEDULE:

Sunday worship service is 10:45am in the main sanctuary.

Wednesday Night LIVE! is on ZOOM Wednesdays at 6:30PM
